Nils graduated in 2021 with a Master of Laws at the University of Antwerp. As part of the Erasmus+ program, he studied for five months at the Università di Bologna. In 2022, he obtained an Advanced Master in Tax Law, also at the University of Antwerp. His thesis on the Exclusive Economic Zone and the Income Taxes was awarded the 2022 ‘AFT-Meesterwerk’ award for best thesis in tax Law.
He joined Tiberghien in 2024 as an Associate and is a member of the Brussels Bar. Previously, he worked at a renowned international consultancy firm focusing on M&A tax matters.
He has a particular focus on (complex) restructurings of family businesses, the tax aspects of investment income, withholding taxes, financial instruments and investment fund structures (i.e. private equity).
