Maxim graduated with a Master of Laws from the University of Antwerp (majoring in Tax Law) in 2022. Since then, he has been a member of the Antwerp Bar Association and an associate in the Litigation Team at Tiberghien.

 

Maxim assists both private individuals and companies in tax administration disputes. He assists them during (unannounced) tax audits and helps resolve disputes about (in)direct taxes. In addition, he represents his clients' interests in both administrative and judicial proceedings.

 

Furthermore, Maxim publishes regularly in tax journals and handbooks. In 2025, he won the prestigious TFR award for his contribution in the Journal of Tax Law entitled ‘The establishment, recovery and contestation of tax debts in respect of liquidated companies’.
