Thomas is an investment fund and business lawyer and has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 2006. He joined Tiberghien Luxembourg as a counsel in 2021 and was named partner in 2022.

 

Thomas is a seasoned professional with over 17 years of experience in Investment Funds, Corporate M&A and Banking & Financial Services.

 

As an investment fund lawyer, Thomas has more than 13 years of practice in establishing regulated and unregulated alternative investment funds and in advising alternative investments funds, initiators, investors and alternative investment fund managers.

 

As a business lawyer, he also has substantial experience in advising multi-national corporations and private equity firms on specific corporate and M&A transactions and in representing lenders and borrowers in a variety of financing transactions.

 

Thomas regularly trains Luxembourg professionals on corporate aspects of Luxembourg law and is a lecturer at the University of Nancy (France). He is also frequently appointed by the Luxembourg commercial court to act as judicial liquidator and bankruptcy receiver of commercial companies.
