Carolyn Vanthienen

Carolyn Vanthienen is a senior associate at Tiberghien and has been an attorney since 2014.

Carolyn specialises in international family and family property law, including divorce, registered partnership, financial provisions, cohabitant claims, and incapacity. She also has expertise in issues regarding children, such as residence and contact. Carolyn has particular interest and experience in estate and private international law disputes involving multi-jurisdictional estates and international clients, often entailing high net worth or complex matters.

She is a member of the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA) and has written family property law-related articles.
